Why consult Shagun?

Shagun Singh is the Founder of Geeli Mitti, one of India’s most respected centres for natural building, permaculture and sustainable living. An internationally certified Permaculture Designer and trainer, she has guided thousands of students, professionals and eco-entrepreneurs in creating regenerative homes, farms and land projects.

Before dedicating her life to sustainability, Shagun spent a decade in senior corporate leadership roles — including Business Dev Head at Clove Dental, Business & Training Head at Fitness First, Marketing Head at Guthy-Renker. She holds an MBA in Marketing & Finance and has been recognised by VOGUE as one of India’s Leading Women in Climate Action.

She founded the Geeli Mitti Centre of Excellence in the Himalayan foothills, where she leads research and hands-on training in natural homes, solar-passive designs, water and waste systems, food forests, farming and ecological architecture. Her consulting work spans government bodies, tourism departments, universities, architects and private eco-projects across India.

Shagun also runs the Geeli Mitti Foundation and the Tuk-Tuk Gilhari Animal Sanctuaries, spearheading community initiatives in afforestation, water management, rural livelihoods, rehabilitation programmes, and sustainable tourism (featured at India’s G20 Summit).
