Day Visit – Farm Tour
Namaste!
Ever wanted to understand and take an experiential walk through our farm? Join us on a day trip on your next visit to Nainital with your loved ones & your friends. We take you through various hand-sculpted, one-of-a-kind spaces at the farm, giving you a peek into the idea, design, and beauty of each of the techniques of natural building that we have worked with. You will also learn about permaculture design, rainwater harvesting, greywater filtering, composting, and much more! Meet our favourite team members: dogs, cats, chickens, birds, lizards and be a friend to them (it’s not so hard!). Splash some water in a beautiful stream, in the dense oakwood forest, to which we have a perfect, Disneyland-like entrance. And of course, enjoy some delicious food at our bamboo-mud cafe, before you depart!
A Few Things to Know Before You Visit
– We meet every Sunday (unless something unexpected comes up).
– Tours run on fixed timings: we start at 11 AM and wrap up by 2 PM sharp. Please arrive on time so everyone can enjoy the full experience! (Late arrivals may have to miss the tour, and the fee is non-refundable.)
– Each tour needs a minimum of 5 people. If fewer sign up, we may need to cancel and will let you know in advance.
– The day visit is just ₹300 (it used to be ₹2000, now discounted so more people can join). This includes a guided walk through our natural buildings + a permaculture design tour of the farm. We ask that if you book, please do show up – since even one no-show can affect the whole group.
– Our bamboo café offers light food and drinks for purchase with a beautiful view. You’re also welcome to bring your own lunch. If you’d like to join our team for lunch after 2 PM, just call us in advance once your booking is done.
– For directions or to chat with us, check the Get in Touch section.
Come and let the Geeli Mitti magic unfold around you!
