How to Reach Us

Note: No matter what mode you choose to get here, remember there is a short 200mtr to 600mtr hike on foot in the end. So, bring a rucksack that you can carry or if you need a porter, let us know. Look forward to welcoming you!

By Car:

Assuming you have good driving skills, in hilly terrain, on single lanes and dirt patches. If not, please take a cab or public transport. Make sure you follow the below route option for the shortest, fastest drive over.

Distance: Approx. 300 kms

Time: 7 hours

Route: ‘Pangoot, Uttrakhand’ in Google Maps (https://goo.gl/maps/rC8xv4Zf2jx)

Delhi – Ghaziabad – Gajraula – Rampur – Suar – Bazpur – left from Jim Corbett Museum – left onto Kilbury road 2 kms before Sukhatal in Nainital – Pangot – dirt road from here for 5 kms down to Mahrora Village.

You can either park the car near the Hanuman Temple at Mahrora and its a short hike less than a km from there.

 

By Bus:

There are several overnight buses plying from Delhi to Nainital, boarding from Delhi between 9 pm to 11.30 pm. Depending on the bus, the boarding points at Delhi could be Connaught Place, Red Fort, RK Ashram Metro Station, ISBT Kashmiri Gate, Anand Vihar Metro Station and Kaushambi. These buses reach Nainital between 6.30-7 am.

From Nainital, you could take a Max Cab straight to the Farm. We could help pre-book this for you or pass on the numbers of some of the regular cab drivers to you to book directly. Fare is typically approx. Rs.1000 to 1200.

You could also choose to come by a shared Max Cab that runs on this route. Board the cab at the taxi stand in front of Anda Market (Egg Market) in Nainital. The cab leaves when full (read an unlimited number of people so prepare for an adventure). If you tend to get car sick, try sitting on the front seat ideally or the middle seat. The fare is approx. Rs.70 per seat. Except for Sundays, typically there is one around 10 am and then a few between 1 pm to 3 pm however, there is no guarantee of the same. Again, we are happy to make a few calls and help you out.

By Flight:

The nearest airport is Pantnagar. Delhi to Pantnagar would be an hour by flight. From Pantnagar, you could take a Max Cab straight to the Farm. We could help you to pre-book these if needed. Fare would need to be confirmed. It will take you about 3.5 hours and a distance of about 80 kms.

The nearest railway station is Kathgodam. It is well connected so please check on the Indian Railways site or an agent about options from your nearest origin train station.

The three best train options from Delhi (check the boarding stations) to Kathgodam are:

Ranikhet Express (Train no.15013) – Departure at 8 pm and arrival at 5.05 am next day.

Shatabdi (Train nos.12040 and 04422) – Departure at 6 am and arrival at 11.40 am same day.

Sampark Kranti (Train no.15035) – Departure at 4 pm and arrival at 10.40 pm same day.

From Kathgodam station, you could take a Max Cab straight to the Farm. We could help pre-book this for you or pass on the numbers of some of the regular cab drivers to you to book directly. If you really want to be adventurous and rough it out, you could take a bus or shared cab from the Kathgodam station to Nainital. The ticket should be about Rs.100.
