Kiran Amati, a former Mumbai-based automobile engineer, has always been passionate about music, and sustainable living. He quit his day job in 2021, to pursue his passions and be a stay-at-home dad. Together with his father Prakash, also a nature enthusiast, he explored, discovered and envisioned their dream house.

They did courses in Adobe brick making and natural building, and with some design help from Shagun Singh of Geeli Mitti, collaboration with renowned national artist Lakhichand Jain and support of many volunteers, they built their dream home “Om Niwas”, a true labour of love, passion, sweat and tears!
